Dharma School

Children are encouraged to attend all events and services.

The Dharma School program takes place during the latter part of the Sunday service. It is an opportunity for children to learn about Buddha’s teachings in a casual and fun environment.

Parents may leave the their children with our teachers while they attend the regular service, so that they too, can learn about the Nembutsu.

Regular classes take place on the second Sunday (monthly memorial day) and fourth Sunday of each month. There will be certain months when the weeks will have to changed (such as December when we will have the year end party on the third Sunday, therefore having classes on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays).

Also, in January we will be begin "Hanamatsuri performance practices" and will possibly need more days. As the months come up we will inform everyone which weeks are designated classes.
